One Way Cruise from Stronachlachar to Trossachs Pier
Cruise to Trossachs Pier from Stronachlachar on this one hour, one way sailing, on Steamship Sir Walter Scott.
Cruises depart daily between 28th March to 25th October 2026 at 11.30am or 3.30pm.
This sailing is very popular with those wanting to walk or cycle to Stronachlachar along the infamous North Shore Road before cruising back to Trossachs Pier in the comfort of the historic Steamship. This 14 mile (21km) tarmac road is owned by Scottish Water, with restricted access for motorised vehicles, providing a unique opportunity to experience the landscape at your own pace.
Please note that residents and contractors do use the road at tiems and due care and attention should be taken. Please also note that the road is undulating throguhout with two larger hills with both steep climbs and descents.
If you plan to take your bike on board or hire a bike from Katrine Wheelz at Trossachs Pier, please ensure you book space for your bike when purchasing your ticket.
Finally please note that 3.30pm is the last sailing back to Trossachs Pier from Stronachlachar. Please ensure you are at the pier 15 minutes before your sailing time to ensure you do not miss the boat.
The Steamship is proudly fully accessible.
We are delighted to be able to offer a fully accessible experience on the Steamship. Level access is provided from the carpark on to the vessle with staff on hand to provide assistance if required. A fully accessible toilet is also availablke on the main deck with signage in both brail and large print to assist those with visual imparements. Complementary wheelchairs and mobility aids are also avalable on site should they be required.
